A Little About Me
Here's a bit about my journey and how I came to live, serve, and work as I do. You may also enjoy a short essence of it in poem form.
My name is Amanda Cruise. I am a healer, teacher, guide, spiritual counselor, and soul medicine woman, with over 37 years on this path personally, and around 27 years of supporting and helping others on theirs. I am also an artist, writer,
and fellow nature-connected, energy-sensitive being.
I created Wild Soul Medicine as a place that other nature-connected, energy-sensitive wild souls can come to for inspiration, deep understanding, support, healing, and transformation.
I grew up intuitive, empathic, and highly sensitive in Rome, Italy, as part of a Celtic-Anglo-American-Belgian-Italian blended family. Sensitive among intellectuals, spiritual in the midst of atheists/agnostics and deeply drawn to wild nature in an ultra-urban environment… I quickly learned to become multi-lingual and multi-dimensional in a myriad of ways.
My different path took me traveling far and wide through inner and outer landscapes. I am still traveling those wild lands, and I am excited to keep doing so, well into my final days as a bright and wild-eyed Crone.
Here’s a definition of Crone that I adore :)
My ‘official’ healing arts path and training began in my early 20’s in the hills of central Italy with a diminutive Native American shaman named Turtle Rattle Woman. She named me Little Brave.
I feel very honored to carry the extraordinary teachings and healing lineages that I do, and I do my best to live and share them with the highest integrity. You can see a full list of my credentials here.

I Also…
Am an INFJ personality type. That profile fits like a favorite glove...
Grew up as a third-culture kid in Rome and New York City. I have also lived in southern France, Mexico City, southern England, the west coast of Scotland, and currently, northern California.
Love speaking my languages whenever I get a chance. I speak fluent English, Italian, French, and Spanish.
Have a slight obsession with Artichokes. And I’m not sure I could live without garlic, basil, and olive oil. The Italian in me lives on.
And tea. Oh my tea. Morning tea. Afternoon tea. After dinner tea. (these are not the same at all). That’s the British part of me. Everything, and I really mean everything, can be made better with a cup of tea…
Love making land art and stone balance sculptures, playing my incredible hand pan, and…books. Not ebooks, Kindle books, or whatever books. Real, proper, turn the crisp, scented pages books books.
Wildlife tracking on a deserted beach. Followed by an awesome brunch (preferably with artichokes).
Animations. Best way to cheer me up, comfort me and/or allow me to reset? Show me Kung Fu Panda or Over The Hedge. Again.
Being in and with my garden. Yes, of course I talk to my plants.
