Session Q&A
Are sessions in person or remote?
Both. I work with many clients long distance worldwide via Zoom and when necessary, by phone. I now also offer in-person sessions locally at my wonderful healing studio in Mendocino, Northern California, USA. Both options are equally powerful and effective.
What do I need to work with you?
For us to work together remotely, all you will need is a strong and steady internet connection. And a comfortable, private space where you will not be disturbed during the session.
A phone signal is also very helpful for backup. Main sessions are via Zoom audio or video.
For in-person sessions, you just need…You! All work will be fully clothed, either on a massage table with a gentle healing touch, or comfortably seated, depending on what’s needed in the moment and what type of session you’ve chosen.
What is your approach?
Each session is gentle, and we will lean into it with a brief check-in before moving into the work.
I draw from a big ‘Medicine Basket’ of both ancient wisdom teachings and newer, leading-edge practices. Each session flows from each unique client and their needs at that moment, so while there are familiar pathways to how I work, it is always different and emergent.
You can also find a complete list of my modalities, trainings, and certifications here.
How long is each session?
Sessions follow a natural healing arc that lasts between 60, 90, and 120 minutes depending on the option you have chosen. Please allow time on either side to ease into and out of the session as much as you can. You will greatly benefit from giving yourself the gift of spaciousness. Sometimes your session may be the most significant thing you do that day.
How often should I have a session?
This varies greatly and also depends on the healing and support option you have chosen.
For the most part, sessions are most supportive and effective every 1-3 weeks in the short and medium term, with the option of longer pauses in longer-term work. I am happy to advise on a frequency and flow for you individually once we have started working together.
Do you use any tools or equipment?
The only physical device I use is a bespoke dowsing rod as a highly attuned assessment tool.
If you have any other questions, I invite you to write me a note, text, or give me a call
